Violinist Jessica Mathaes has been hailed by critics for her "vivacious playing that's both technically superb and emotionally engaging" and for her "quicksilver bowing" and "keenly expressed emotion." "Fiddler's Choices" will be Ms. Mathaes' New York City debut. More information on Ms. Mathaes is available at www.jessicamathaes.com.
Accompanying will be pianist Colette Valentine, who has been cited for her "clean, sparkling technique" and "consummate skill and musicianship." Ms. Valentine has a long performance history in New York City and throughout the United States.
