CHEERS to the Alliance for Retired Americans (ARA) for demanding the resignation of Republican Senator Alan Simpson as co-chair of the National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform for disparaging senior citizens and their main source of income, Social Security. His most recent slander was to compare Social Security to “a milk cow with 310 million tits.” Previously, he had referred to seniors as “greedy geezers!” (From ARA via Jim Lane)
