$100 for 100 years of People’s World

People’s World is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. That’s 100 years of being in the trenches, telling the stories of our working class and people and fighting for the truth.

We’re appealing to our readers to donate $100 for 100 years to support revolutionary working-class journalism that unapologetically takes sides and advocates a pro-labor, pro-people agenda.

As a token of our appreciation, we’re offering a unique opportunity to a lucky reader who donates $100 or more by May 1. Greg Kearney, the award-winning cartoonist whose marvelous work regularly appears in this publication, has graciously offered to create a political cartoon on any subject for a winning $100 donor.

Check out Greg Kearney’s work here.

To give yourself a chance to win, donate $100 or more by May 1. You will be eligible to win a cartoon. If you’ve donated $100 since February 1, you’re automatically in the drawing!

We’ve seen it all, through thick and thin—from print to digital, from hawking The Daily Worker on street corners to spreading People’s World content globally through social media. We’ve seen revolutions in communications and covered real revolutions, epic battles, and radical social transformations.

We’ve crusaded relentlessly for peace, worker’s rights, civil rights, women’s rights, LGBTQ rights, immigrant rights, and environmental justice.

This scrappy publication relies solely on donations from its dedicated and loyal readers. With no billionaire backers or Wall Street hedge funds, we’re racing against time to raise $125,000 in the 2024 Spring Fund Drive. We’re currently around 65% of the way there, with another $45,000 to raise in these final days.

So, what better way to celebrate the 100-year milestone than donating $100 to the 2024 Spring People’s World Fund Drive? We’re shooting for 300 readers to give at least $100, and 150 readers have already done so.

But whether you win a Greg Kearney cartoon or not, we’re all winners in the end—we will continue to have excellent news coverage and analysis at our fingertips and be part of a great community of readers supporting working-class journalism.

Donate $100 today to celebrate 100 years!

Thanks for all you do!
