Worker’s Correspondence

It is less than a week until the Special Election for the Boston City Council seat for Allston/Brighton is held.

We had a great response to our trolley and marchers in the Allston/Brighton Day parade on Nov. 3. We were the only candidate that campaigned not only for ourselves but also against the anti-bilingual education Question #2.

I need your help – PLEASE! The following days and date are important and we need you and your friends to help. We need volunteers to drive people to polls on Nov. 12, because people think that it is over and the special election is only for city council. Return of Rent Control is the issue for Allston/Brighton Voters in this election.

The push to get out the vote is the most important part of this campaign.

If you could look in your phone book to find friends who live and vote in Allston/Brighton, then ask them to vote for me on Tuesday, Nov. 12. Then e-mail or call Barbara Rice, campaign manager, with the names, addresses and phone numbers. We will send them something and call them on Election Day.

We need help with standouts to ask people to come back to the polls Nov. 12 and vote for Gary Dotterman. On Monday, Nov.11, from 7 a.m. until 8:30 a.m., we’ll be at Harvard Street and Commonwealth Avenue.

We need everyone on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 12, from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. Call Barbara, 617-357-5717, to volunteer. This is the deadline for all of our work – after that we party for the night!

I wish to thank you for your help, support, work, money and love.

For more information or to help, call (617) 357-5717 or (617) 264-7535 or e-mail garydin1@aol.com
