According to a leaked draft memo U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth plans to end the government’s nearly 100 year support for Scouting America, claiming that the organization is now designed to “attack boy-friendly spaces.” A report by NPR states that Hegseth criticizes the organization for being “genderless” and for promoting diversity, equity and inclusion.
