I don’t need no rocking chair!

Mark Gruenberg’s stereotyping 83-year-olds through his story about Jose Carillo (Jose Carillo and Donald Trump,” Dec. 1, 2016, People’s World) saying he should be “enjoying his rocking chair” is annoying.

I am such an 83-year “old” — and far from a rocking chair.

I swim, bike, jog, play senior softball two times a week, and more.

And there are many out there like me.

Yes, I know he was doing it to make a point. But a rocking chair?

Use your imagination, Mark.
