There’s something you gotta know: The guys running against us aren’t nice guys.
I hate to say it, but they’re already passing around champagne.
These aren’t the kind of people we want as our leaders. They think they’re better than us because they eat at fancy restaurants with lobbyists and wear expensive suits. They think we’re freeloaders because we want the benefits we’ve earned. And they’re laughing all the way to the bank-as they run away with big donations from fat-cat donors like the Koch brothers.
It doesn’t matter where you come from, what your education level is or how much money you make. What matters is good, old-fashioned American values-keeping your family healthy, putting food on the table and maybe having a little left over on the weekend.
We’re not asking for much, just enough to live our lives. And guys like Scott Walker, Rick Scott, and Mitch McConnell think we don’t deserve it, even as they rake in the big bucks.
These are guys who are worth *tens of millions* of dollars. What do they know about working families?
Are we going to let these smug faces win?
Dig deep and let’s send these guys packing, once and for all. The best way you can help send these guys home is to make sure that your friends and neighbors show up to vote today. Nothing is more effective at making sure people turn out to vote than hearing from someone they know about how important the election is. You still have a chance to influence the outcome of this year’s election.
