People’s World is the unique voice the working class needs

“We were forced, like prisoners, into attending degrading anti-union meetings,” Roger Wyatt, an Amazon worker at the mega giant’s Bessemer, Ala. warehouse, told People’s World.

“Amazon treated us like mindless robots, downloading misinformation and lies onto our phones.

“Ironically the meetings in which we were held captive were the longest we ever got to sit at work. If it’s impossible to allow an adequate break and bathroom time, why is it possible, let alone mandatory, for me to sit through hours of anti-union training?”

Your financial support for People’s World enabled us to print that story and countless others this past year reflecting the real-life struggles of the great big beautiful multi-racial, multi-national working class in the United States. We are sure you will agree that those are not the kinds of stories you read in the mainstream media.

People’s World supporters have already contributed $20,000 toward our $75,000 goal. Please donate generously to ensure we reach our goal by May 1.

This year, our mission is to help prevent a takeover of the House and Senate by an anti-democratic and fascist-oriented Republican Party. Among so many other things, a GOP takeover will make it even more difficult for people like Roger Wyatt to exercise their right to form a union.

One of the best ways to help Roger win the struggle, which translates into whether he will be able to feed his family, is to contribute any amount you can to People’s World. It is the goal to which all of us, you, and People’s World, are committed.

Please join 500 readers in pledging to donate at least $100 toward our goal. But donations of $10, $25, $50, or whatever you can spare are invaluable to keeping the great work at People’s World going.

Your donation enables us to cover the stories not touched by the mainstream media. Your contribution to People’s World multiplies the positive results that can come from the time and effort you put into the struggle. People’s World has some 3,000,000 unique readers now, giving it the potential to reach more people than ever since our founding as the Daily Worker in 1924.

Please donate generously today! Your donation increases the possibility of a people’s victory in the Midterm elections, a victory for what is most important to Roger Wyatt, his family, and the rest of the U.S. working class.

Thank you,
