Minnesota and 20 states are refusing to turn over their voter files being illegally demanded by Trump’s Justice Department.
The SAVE Act, which would disenfranchise tens of millions of eligible voters, is before the U.S. Senate.
The MEGA Act, which the Brennan Center calls “one of the most catastrophic proposals for democracy where voting would move from a fundamental right to one where voters must repeatedly prove their eligibility and navigate bureaucratic obstacles,” includes a ban on automatic mail-in voting.
Congress must take a stand to stop this destruction of democracy and immediately pass the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Enhancement Act (HR 14/S 2523) to protect the integrity of the vote and the right to representation in upcoming elections!
