Texas executes 500th prisoner, Kimberly McCarthy (audio)

Texas operates the busiest execution chamber in the United States and Wednesday it put to death its 500th inmate, a woman named Kimberly McCarthy, since the death penalty was reintroduced in 1976. (Audio coverage below.)
