Phyllis Bennis is a fellow of the Institute for Policy Studies and directs the New Internationalism Project at IPS, focusing on the Middle East, U.S. militarism, and UN issues. She is also a fellow of the Transnational Institute in Amsterdam. Bennis serves as the international adviser for the organization Jewish Voice for Peace. Her books include “Understanding the Palestinian-Israeli Conflict: A Primer.”
