Susan Barton is an activist on Long Island. She has studied the history of the evils of the Doctrine of Discovery and settler colonialism. She actively opposes racism in Long Island, believing it divides the working class. Barton also works with the Poor People’s Campaign and many other organizations to create coalitions that will advance the progress of all people’s lives.
