The illegal denial of access to elected officials for oversight at Delaney Hall, a private for-profit mass detention center in Newark, NJ, is an alarming abuse of power. Growing reports of inhumane conditions imposed at these prisons on immigrants with no criminal records is unacceptable and requires they be closed.
